Balcony Beers

Flew down to London today for Matthew's viewing of the Olympic building site. It was stunning weather. It was more like Madrid than London!

We got the DLR from Bank but were on the wrong one which led us to have a nice stroll around the Docklands. Then on to the Olympic site. Matthew was videoing everything and even had Iain miked up. The stadium is really far on, clearly ahead of schedule.

Later on we went for a couple of beers at the bar on the 5th floor of the Festival Hall to get the fantastic views from the balcony. Then on to rendezvous with Rob at a Turkish restaurant called Ev. The tables were outside making it really feel like a holiday. After the meal we sat outside until after midnight and was still warm!
