Busy again...

... so I'm sorry to bore you with a picture of yesterday's picture with a reflection SP in it.

We've been a bit stressed since last Friday about our holiday. We discovered that the travel agency, against our wishes, had not booked a separate seat on the plane for Ellis so she would have to sit with either me or Martine. I don't mind having her on my lap for a while but over eight hours is just too much. We've been in touch with the travel agency since Friday but we had to get angry before any real attention was paid and today things were arranged as they should have been from the beginning. Besides the issue with the seat for Ellis there were some more problems: the flight numbers that were communicated to us don't exist. At least not anymore. And the wrong times and flight numbers were also given to the car rental company. And we were told that we could check in for the flight electronically but no e-ticket number was given to us. To summarize: this has been the last holiday that will be booked through them.

Last year we also went to the USA. Then we arranged everything ourselves. When we checked in for the flight we found out that the travel agencies are the highest priority when it comes to seat arrangements and we were stuck with one row of three seats in the front of the plane and one row of two seats in the back of the plane. Nice. So this time we were going to make things easier for us by letting a travel agency handling everything for us. Would I surprise you by saying that it has actually taken us more time this year?

This was supposed to be a quick blip as I still need to finish some work for our local football club. I'm preparing the advertisement pages for in the club newspaper. So it's back to that now...
