Super Macro
At work, I'm working on a new camera for our measurement machines.
I do the programming on the camera and in the software used to operate the machines.
The pixel-dimensions are 3.2 x 3.2 micron (1/1000th of a mm) and I'm using a Sigma 2x magnifying lens.
This means the pixels each are 1.6 um or in other words about twice the wavelength of normal visible light or about 15875 dpi.
I can't wait to try the 3x, 5x and 10x lenses just to see what happens with structures smaller than the wavelength of the used light.
