lifeline

monday is the day we work with 'lifeline in zambia' who run home-based care programmes for patients with HIV/aids. we visit the patients, alongside local volunteers, to encourage the patients.

it's always a bit of a head do-er. one minute you're walking round having great banter with the volunteers and enjoying african village life and then the next minute you're praying for a dying patient, trying to bring words of hope and encouragement.

the local volunteers are doing an amazing job and it's a privilege to work alongside them.
