Split rock

This apparently natural feature emerged from our new lake, looks like its part of original river bed before we fillied it in as landfill 30+ years ago.

Tried to compose this one after making a bags of several other images today, not sure if it worked.

Note the landfill site closed in the early '70's, and is now Kilbogget Park, a fairly boring and flat space, until a new park ranger showed up 3-4 years ago and set about transforming the place with plantings and pathways; now the lake dug out over last winter is maturing beautifully.
