Starbucks Insect

I ran into a friend of mine at Starbucks this afternoon and we had a chance to catch up a bit. I was showing her my new macro lens when this bug landed on the table. I have never seen this bug before, but it was a good chance to practice with the lens. I discovered another challenge with this macro.. while a plant may sway in a breeze, a bug has a mind of its own and moves unpredictably .. made it difficult to keep him in the narrow depth of field ... I was surprised at how patient the insect was .. it even staying on the table when I moved the table to try and catch some sun! Do you think he was waiting for his mocha frappicino?
