Sandy Days

Last night we arrived at a campground on the Oregon coast for a week long camping trip. We spent last night and will spend tonight here, and then move to another campground where we will meet up with my parents and some of my siblings; we have a "family camp reunion" every year in July.

We spent an incredible day today sightseeing this area and playing on the beach. Fog, gusty winds, crashing waves, and then an incredible amount of sunshine and blue sky welcomed us to the coast. And really, it is exactly the type of weather you expect and completely appreciate coming to the Oregon coast.

We ended our day with a gathering of friends...friends who I did not know until Blip. Our mini blipmeet at our campsite with Inspire Designs and PdDesigns. It's funny, we met for the first time at the beginning of this year, yet it is like we've known each other our entire lives. Our kids played together while we enjoyed talking like old friends... enjoying yummy food, chatting around the campsite, and even a few S'mores for the kiddos.

Thanks Inspire and PD for joining us...we had an incredible time and my kids are sleeping VERY soundly right now. Until next time...maybe the tulip fields next year? And really, my house is here with open doors :)
