Meadow Brown Butterfly

Today we drove up the road a couple of miles to Watts Wood, a Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve. Whilst I have taken many butterfly pictures in the past they have always been in the Stratford Butterfly Farm so I was really pleased when I was able to capture 5 different sorts plus some bees and other insects. This butterfly is very common in Britain.

I realised to today that I had taken over 10000 images with my canon 50d which I bought in February, you could say I'm into photography in a big way
