Concrete
Surprisingly on theme. If you had asked me this morning if I would be blipping concrete I would have looked at you askance :-)
A blustery day up north but at least it was dry and warm. So we headed off to tenstmuir this afternoon.
The picture shows the anti tank traps which line the beach. They were put there in 1941 by the polish prisoners of war based in Tentsmuir as a defence against a potential invasion by the germans. The fear was that the river Tay might be used as a point of access. When they were first placed there, their positioning marked the high water point of the river. Over time the shoreline has receded and they are now firmly ensconced in the grasslands away from the sea.
My blipping was interrupted by the arrival of some cattle. As can be seen here :-)
