Common Darter

These have just started to emerge here and are one of the easiest dragonflies to photograph. Lots of interesting stuff around today including a wasp's nest in an area where I go ploughing into chasing butterflies to photograph.
Other interesting 'stuff' was a White-letter Hairstreak, one of the rarer butterflies in the area and not very often seen round here. IF I'd got a photograph it would have been my blip for today..maybe tomorrow!
Enjoy the football, I'm going out to keep an eye on some nesting Barn Owls nearby.
