Sark Cycling

Took a boat across to Sark today; damn expensive at twenty-five quid each!

No cars or tarred roads on the island. You get around on a bike or horse and cart. We hired bikes. Great fun, but exhausting in the tropical heat.

This is a resident -- in her eighties? -- doing her daily shopping on her bike. Unique island. Different world...
