The view from the balcony.

Arrived in Guernsey at noon. A quick scoot across the nine mile island to the cheap and basic hotel. But we did get a tiny balcony -- our first!!

Had a swim then down to the drab dining room -- decorated in 1972 and never seen a paintbrush since!

Watched the semi-final in our room -- and pleased with the outcome of a fairly average game.

Looking forward to our three day break...
