BANANA

Drove up to Marist with Stine (and picked up Elissa on the way!) to spend the day with her friends. The ride up was rather entertaining between Elissa saying she loved every song, the alphabet game, the Banana game (I dominated), and me seeing infinite amounts of punch buggies.

We met up with Stines friends Jesse and Sam once there. Our first stop was the river which we wandered around. Then we drove around Poughkeepsie got some lunch (delicious). Then decided to walk across the Hudson on the 'Walkway Over The Hudson'. Quite a distance but thankfully it wasn't too hot and it wasn't raining. It was really cool though standing in the middle of the Hudson. I rather enjoyed it.

We were kind of beat after that and rested back at Jesse?s dorm. After a slight recharging we went to Barnes and Nobles (I think we?re all dorks for this?). Biggest Barnes and Nobles I've ever been in for sure. Resisted the urge to buy a book since I just ordered two online yesterday. Afterwards we went to Fridays for dinner. Which was quite yummy.

I had a great day. I really enjoyed Stines friends and hanging out with them =] I'm kind of exhausted now. But this is Stine on a rock on campus. I exaggerated the sky a wee bit it wasn?t that ominous. Check back tomorrow and I'll post links to more pictures. Night all!

Quote
"Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion, it is not the desire to mate every second minute of the day, it is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every cranny of your body. No, don't blush, I am telling you some truths. That is just being "in love", which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident."
