Flatpack day

Have spent lots of money this week on stuff for the flat and today most of the stuff arrived. Last night's visit to Ikea meant two delivery men turned up with 13 packages to carry up to a top floor flat - I felt very guilty but also very thankful I wasn't carrying the stuff up myself! Happily the new desk I ordered from John Lewis (half price in the sale, yippee!) also arrived today so the day was spent making a start on building up all the items. By midnight tonight i could see the flat was really starting to come together and is now beginning to look and feel like a home. I'm especially pleased with the study - working from home is now going to much more comfortable at a real desk again (as opposed to a laptop on the couch).

Of course, all this nesting means I have to stop myself wandering from room to room, just to look. Stare actually. Ad nauseum. Hopefully this will pass : /
