Thistle Down

A Loving Person

Our personalities will blossom,
And open to our will.
If we can cultivate our ways,
And tend them with our skill.

To be a loving person,
In tender ways...we soften.
By having loved-ones near,
So we can practice often.

Anger has no place within,
And judgement has no thought.
Through patience, love, and kindness,
A feeling deep is wrought.

Soft glimpses and a lovely smile,
With insights that are just.
Will make us, "Keeper of the Heart",
And a ray of light and trust.

Attainments to this lofty goal,
Needs training and rehearsing,
Ah sure...T'is all those gestures sweet,
That'll make a loving person.
