out of the gloom

Day Two of the hosepipe ban and it has lashed down all day.

We were hoping for a bike ride but in the end we even gave up attempting a walk - it was a deluge...

The three year old in her bright colours dancing in the rain cheered us up but I also had to appreciate the beauty of the water drops on this rose.

For now that is, we would like some sun soon...
