Willet

Went out early today prior to the rains coming, down to Allens Neck Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuary in Westport MA. Walked down to the beach, the weather was foggy and watch and photographed the terns, gulls, eiders and piping plovers. On the way back to the sanctuary's field station, this willet landed on a tree swallow box and talked to me. he allowed me to get to within 10 feet. There is no crop on the photo.
