This one's for you

I haven't been able to upload any photos or make any comments for a couple of days, due to the tragic chain of events which started on Thursday. My Aunt had been here on holiday for a week, staying in a Convalescent Home, which I blipped, and we took her back to Liverpool on Thursday morning. When we got her back to her apartment block, she needed the cloakroom and we went upstairs to her apartment to make her a coffee and settle her back home before we left to return to Wales. She didn't appear for a while and then another resident rang the doorbell to say that Aunty had had a fall. After I rushed downstairs I found her in a very sorry state. The Paramedics arrived within minutes and she was taken to hospital, where it was found that she had a broken elbow, fingers and a very nasty gash on her head. I think she'd had a seizure when she fell and, unfortunately, she deteriorated rapidly until she passed away last night.
We have a lot to be grateful for. Her son and daughter-in -law arrived from France to see her before she died, she'd had a wonderful holiday and, evidently she had always said to her son that she wanted to have a fall and die,which is precisely what happened. For an 84 year old she was mentally extremely alert, loved to watch me uploading my photos. She asked daily if I'd done my 'blip'!! So, Aunty Kath-this one's for you. xx
