Gypsum rock formation....

We had our first canoe trip of the season today! It was a sunny, but windy day, so I had some reservations about taking the big canoe out onto the water at St. Anne's Bay. It's a cumbersome canoe but it has the advantage of a battery powered motor.....but you can never be quite sure just how much juice is actually stored there!!! Anyway, it was a great afternoon, Terry did some fishing, i took lots of photographs....and we fought against the wind on the way back across the water, using our paddles just in case we ran our of juice half way across....it was pretty exciting, especially being up front and hitting all those waves...i got soaked a few times! But we also managed to do some exploring around the coast of a piece of land we docked at....totally desolate and stunningly beautiful. By the time we got home, Richard and Nadar (our newish wwoofer) had started dinner, so we'll be eating pretty soon, which is good cos i'm starving !!!
