Old Compton Street

The last day of my photography Summer School with Gene Kiegel and I wish it could go on for longer.

Story of the week was definitely about fashion designer Yan Zhang, who showed us pictures for a good two days before we realised they were taken by her husband.

Because her English was better she took the course for him and translated comments in the evening. On this the last day, Gene persuaded her to bring him along. both very shy initially it was great to see them both together as a team.

In the class they were helped out by Chen yang Wang, also a talented photographer and Chinese speaker.

Finally I got a view of the roof from Carrie, a lawyer from Minesota before leaving to take on board everything I've learned.
