Waterfall and man with phone
I really struggled to decide which one to blip today, so please look at some others I have put in the Blipfolio and tell which one is best.
It's been an interesting day beginning with three hours at a seminar hearing about the whole range of adobe CS5 software and all the wonderful things it can do, but it's all far too much for a one man band (my web design business) to learn how to do, and to afford to buy. Picked up a few tips though.
Walking back at lunch time I stopped off at Sheffield Peace gardens which is just brimming with bliportunities (is that a word?), and I got lots of pix of watery things and birds playing in the water, and people enjoying the sun on their lunch break. I felt very conspicuous however, and just couldn't take photos of the kids having fun in the fountain, fearing the wrath of irate parents, or a tap on the shoulder: "can i see what you have got on your camera sir!)." So I concentrated on the waterfalls.
Sheffield Peace Gardens have been transformed in recent years, as has much of Sheffield City Centre. They are now a lovely place to sit and have lunch and socialise, whereas when I arrived in Sheffield *cough* years ago, they were dull and drab and occupied by tramps on park benches, and generally a place to avoid.
After walking home I went for a massage from a trainee student having their final assessment at the end of their course. Main reason being I am considering training myself and thought it would be good way of seeing what is involved. It was, and it was very good, but I remain far from sure it is something I want to commit time and money to. Second reason - it was very cheap.
