Hill
On days like today, when the mountains are covered by cloud, the foothills have a chance to stand out and be noticed. This one is already distinctive because of the dark pine plantation that goes almost up to its two peaks, but this afternoon it cornered the only bit of sunshine on offer. For the rest of us it was rather bleak and the wind was icy.
One year ago: One of my favourite views of Mount Torlesse, taken from a place that is now inaccessible, due to a blipper-proof fence.
