By means of "atomic oscillations"?.
We are not sure how it works but in a demo session the company tried to convince us and has set up a try-out.
We are performing the test on the auxiliary sea-coolingwater system at unit EC 20.
A so-called "Merus Ring" is installed round the coolinwaterpipe leading to the suction pipes of the three pumps.
In this way we should be able to avoid/get rid of barnacles, deposits in the condenser pipes, and so on.
Other companies are succesful in using it so we are curious how this test will work out.
About the peregrines: Update about the eggs of the peregrines on the chimney of unit EC 20: all went wrong because the eggs were not fertilized....
