how lovely that you want to hear about my shopping trip. If only all vendors of groceries, fags and mags were so customer-focussed. Sigh.

Well. I set off to purchase a few provisions at your local emporium. I had the MP3 on "shuffle" so the soundtrack to my expedition covered everything from this to this. I do find that music helps me get around your premises so much more easily (it blocks out the shouty foreigners and schemie women screaming at their we'ans.)

At the entrance as usual I walked through the cloud of cigarette smoke that was emanating from the bouncer security chap. Whilst simultaneously maintaining my glaikit face when confronted by the beggar strategically placed to badger customers both entering and exiting your complex door arrangement.

And I was lucky enough to be there for the 21.55 stampede when every student and jakey in the district has to get to the booze aisle.

Then I had to queue for 10 minutes at the only manned check-out. However I know that it's quicker than the self-service checkouts, which never function without staff intervention.

Still, it was worth it when the 14 year old that is manning the till asked me if I'd had a good day. Although he didn't seem too interested when I told him all about my day.....

And, no, I don't have a clubcard, and yes I do need a bag.
