Hamster haven

suddenly noticed DD's hamster sitting by my feet - thank God I didn't stand on her! and discovered the nest part of her funky cage had fallen off... don't know when it happened bit she had managed to acquire quite a few interesting items to store in it...

Identifiable ones were marbles, boiled sweet, pebbles and tissue. Not sure what the white stringy bits are - hope they a) weren't Playmobil zoo ropes b) harmful to our hamster...

Will be keeping a better eye on the cage fastenings in future...
