Have spent most of the day experimenting in trying to take photos of running water. This is what I had intended to post today.

I took myself off to the woods with the dogs and photographed just about every bit of running water I could find. I'm really lucky living where I am as there are lots of weirs and sinkholes to TRY and capture.

I have just about managed to make water look a bit smokey but still need more practise before I will be happy. As for trying to freeze water FORGET IT the picture ends up quite black and even with the flash its not happening.

Well you know the saying "if at first you dont suceed" so I will keep trying.

Not really into self portraits but thought as I've now been on blip for a while it would be a good idea to introduce myself.

So here I am, camera held at arms length as I haven't worked out the timer thing yet either.
