Green River

I thought it looked a bit like a painted road, it looks so solid with all the stagnant slime.

It's an old mill stream, off the river Wandle at Carshalton. You can just about see an old water mill at the end of the stream. Such a shame it's not cleaned up and renovated. Maybe one day?
