Viva España

Back in my favourite place in the company of #2 daughter, #2 son and Fluffy Ted with #1 daughter and boyfriend to join us next week. Arrived yesterday evening and had a lovely meal at the local bar, which was showing the World Cup semi-final match on a big screen. At first my heart sank as I dislike football and the hooligan behaviour it incites in some people, the males of my family included, although to be fair it manifests itself only in shouting helpful "advice" at the TV. However, the sound was turned down low, and actually being in Spain in a bar full of Spanish holidaymakers and locals while their country won the semi-final was just electric, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Viva España!
