Go Karting Indoors

I was trying to convey a feeling of the speed of these little beasts while also being able to identify to some degree the drivers in the race. Unfortunately blip does not have the capacity to send you the NOISE of them as well, so you can have a true experience, or even the fumes for true suroound sensory input.
It is horribly expensive at 15 minute intervals, so is not an activity that I will be encouraging, but the grins aferwards were truely worth it. They drove true to character all the kids, there must be one of each type in every race,
-S who waved to me each time he went around the track and kept looking to see who was behind him so he could let them catch up and do a hi 5,
=B who was very scared of them and had to go to the toilet 3 times before the start, who drove very carefully and seriously throughout the time,
=O who being the only girl just got on with the race and whipped the boys hands down, sailing past them when she lapped them,
=H who crashed into walls, other karts and slid around the corners "drifting", and had the staff running out on the track shaking their fingers at him and threatening to send him off.
= kids that were too fat, and their karts too slow
- kids who were terrified and had manic parents shouting at them from the sidelines and gesticulating wildly.
Quite funny to watch. They wont let adults race the same track as under 14s so in a couple of years, there will be out there also, a mother who is under duress but determined to show those boys that she is no slouch on the track. My time will come....
