Bad Design in a perfectly Designed Fiat 500

Everytime I drive any distance in my Fiat 500 and buy a coffee I get disappointed with my otherwise fantastic little car.

The Fiat 500 is a perfectly designed, cool, funky little car for getting to and from the train station and driving to meetings for work. Everything is so well designed and the whole package feels really good. Not a flash motor and very frugal on fuel.

However!!!

The centre console is the 500's design Achilles heel. How can you put a drink holder right next to a USB port and also the Cigar Lighter? A receipe for an electrical distaster.

I haven't spilt a drink in the car yet but I'm sure it will happen at some point. I once braked hard in a Berlingo and lost a WHOLE cup of coffee into the glove compartment...
