On top of the hill

Location: Pirunlinna (The Devil's Castle), Lempäälä.

The structure is a 9th century stone fortress deep in the forest. It has also been a local observation point against raiders, such as vikings.

Not much to look at, but a healthy climb up the gnat-infested path.
