Overspill
With Scott due to go off playing football this after noon with this Glasgow pals, we took the opportunity to have a wander around the Pollock County Park this morning.
We went to park round at Pollock House only to find the place mobbed. They were filming part of the second series of a costume drama thing for the BBC. So we ended up in a field way on the other side of the normal car park.
The weir pictured above played it's part in another historical drama. My old school's playing fields were situated on the other side of the park and one of the low-lights of the acedmic year was the dreaded cross county run. This weir marked roughly the half-way mark on what was an annual torture.
Looked nice today though.
