Waiting for the evening

Gothenburg is waiting for the football match in the evening. I had a chat with him in a bar and he is betting for Spain.
Another reason for choosing this image to blip today was that I`ve got a copy of Digital Camera magazine for travel reading and there was a story how to use adjustments layers in Photoshop. A lot of photoshopping have been used to this image.
The screen of my laptop is so poor that I can´t see the result properly but anyway it is quite far from original.

PS. These are notes for me to remember what I did:
First a new adjustment layer/levels to boost the contrast.
Then another adjustment layer/hue/saturation to remove colour and setting blending mode to soft light.
Then a H/S layer again setting saturation down.
After that I flattened the image and enhanced highlights, midtone contrast and shadows.
