Thrift Store Finds

I had planned to go back out tonight to find a blip, BUT after quite a busy day which included picking eleven pounds of strawberries, laundry and house cleaning, decided I would find a blip here in the house.

These are two items I purchased last week at one of my favorite thrift stores. The storybook was published in 1950 and includes some stories that are now quite difficult to find. The trivet I just had to purchase for my son and daughter-in-law as this is the church they attend in Williamsburg, VA...Bruton Parish. Not sure how or why the trivet ended up in a thrift store 3,000 miles away, but it will now be making it's way back to Williamsburg later this summer!

Goose and Gander arrived safe and sound into Seattle this afternoon! Yay! So nice to have them back in the same state with us!
