I left my parents house in NY and drove east to the end of the north fork of Long Island. I stopped at my favorite farm stand along the way and then took the ferry to Connecticut. I continued my drive back to Boston. I arrived back at my un-air-conditioned apartment and 90something degree heat. I put my ac in my bedroom window, which made sleeping bearable. I really missed my parents house with central air!!!
