Today I worked a half day and then got ready to get on the road. I drove to NY. I was anxious about the traffic, which was non-existent until I got to NY where the road split (George Washington Bridge to the right and Throgs Neck Bridge to the left). It took me 1.25 hours to drive 3.8 miles! After I got through the traffic it was smooth sailing again as all the traffic was going towards the GW Bridge. I made it home in just under 5 hours. My mom was especially happy to see me because she left for Florida the next morning, so we only had a few hours together. I took this photo of the hydrangeas that my mom got. The lighting wasn't the best.
