Delicious doughnut peaches

My first experience of these was just a few years ago. We were in France and at the end of the meal a superb selection of fruit was brought to the table in a wooden box with different compartments. In one, were flattened peaches.

They taste so delicious and cost about the same as the standard ones - we bought ours in a local independent grocers. I rather like their alternative name, Saturn peaches
