Illumination

Having spent much of the day in the Fife Arms Hotel in Braemar (plainly a geographically challenged proprietor!) recovering from the previous day's exertions, Kerrie and I bade farewell to Peter and Lottie and strode out to Courror bothy.

The dimming evening light through the meagre bothy window was just enough to illuminate half of her face. The great thing about spending time in the hills with friends is that it gives time for conversations to illuminate who they are and how they see the world.
