Walked a bit over 8 kilometers in the heat of Hua Hin. The temperature was about 33°C (91°F) and AccuWeather's RealFeel® index was 42°C (108°F)! No wonder this bored monkey staid in the shade of the tree.

After the walk, I decided to treat myself with a nice cold beer but I accidentally bought a bottle of not-so-great-tasting rice wine. Yuck! Luckily the fried grasshoppers that we bought from the grand night market later in the evening were a delicious new experience. That (and the big bottle of cold Singha that I had later on) made the day.
