Lice to see you

Yup, an inspection of Mr K this evening showed up some small crawly creatures. We headed for the bathroom so he could bathe in lice 'n' easy. Of course, I then had to bathe the two ladies, too. They didn't show signs of having any problems, but you never know. So that made for an eventful evening, but all three guinea pigs were very good - no squealing or whimpering and, I dare to say, I think that Willow quite liked the pampering! I'll keep checking their hair, just in case, but the shampoo should have done the trick. Poor things.

An uneventful day other than that. On my cycle to work, I caught my first sight of one of London's new cycle superhighways. The CS7 (Colliers Wood to Southwark Bridge) crosses my path in a fine royal blue covering outside the South Bank University. My dowdy faded-green-and-sometimes-just-a-bike-painted-on-the-road route 23 can only sigh. I don't think I'm anywhere near a superhighway, although the Penge to the city route might be near-ish, but that won't be ready until 2015.
