Perennial Pink Peony Pic

This week mum's peony made its annual glamourous debut. The peony buds arrive and I hop over to her garden for a shot or two.
This year she seems especially flamboyant. I love how the edges of the petals look like confetti and the deep pinks in the centre look like they have delicately painted brush strokes.
