Kowloon Street scene

Taken in Jordan Road, off Nathan Road, on our last day. After my last class, Dazed met me and we had a lovely dim sum lunch in House of Canton, Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong. It was scrummy! Posting this now before blip loses it, will add more later!

On the way back to the hotel we had a very quick visit to
Temple Street (as the night market was setting up) for some last minute shopping, then back to the hotel to change, shower and pack. Because of all the problems we had with the hotel (don't ask!) we got a late check out 'Mrs Toadally, please stay in the room as long as you want' This was in addition to the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate cakes. Mind you, I would have preferred better service from day 1. And a cosy bar (it's turned into part of the restaurant). And the advertised 'buy one, get one free' offer on the drinks. And less rudeness at breakfast,,,,,,

We avoided Temple Street at night after the acid attacks on tourists earlier ths year. Best not to take a chance,

What an effort for a blip! Took 3 - 4 goes to upload and only worked after I reduced the file size (from 2.2Mb),
