The Coming Storm

The weather shifted today and the wind picked up, blowing in some storm clouds, so I went down to the waterfront. I was hoping to catch some images of the coming storm, though wind can be difficult to photograph.

The wind was getting colder - it is summer isn't it? - and I was not dressed for the cold wind coming off the ocean. As I was heading back to the car I saw the sun break through and highlight this home on the waterfront, contrasting it against the dark clouds of the building storm. The scene encapsulated the mood for the day and the way I was feeling on my way to work.

Hopefully more sun tomorrow....
