From papa for Gander:)

Happy Fourth of July to all the USA blippers and Happy weekend to the rest of you wonderful blippers out there. Our son and daughter in law come HOME at long last after a phenomenal year of teaching and traveling in China and ten other countries abroad. They arrive back home on Tuesday and we are soooo excited. Gander asked if a little birdie could hint that Papa Big R make him a chocolate peanut butter pie with bananas in it. Not ever having done so...Big R found a recipe, improvised and voila!! I convinced him we needed to test run it today ha ha. Passed my test!!! We will take it to our friend's fourth bbq tonight. Big R is the family pie maker taking after his mom. For goose and gander's wedding they wanted pies not a wedding cake. Big R made over 15 pies and Goose's sister in law the rest. It was an incredible pie feast all beautifully displayed on a long table. This recipe is a winner Big r.
