Chester

We picked up this little treasure of Pre-Columbian art at a vintage store for a steal. We named him Chester.

What I did not know was that "Pre-Columbian" means pre-Christopher Columbus coming to the Americas. If this piece is indeed truly from that era, we lucked out for the few dollars paid.

Vanessa and I hunt for vintage things all the time. Today at a swap meet as they are called here, she picked up vintage 20's era silk flowers and a egret feather headdress ornaments made for the progressive ladies of that roaring era.

I prefer Chester ;)
