The Vale of Evesham...

This was taken from a train on the Evesham Vale Light Railway at Evesham Country Park.

Well, to be more truthful, I jumped off the train to take the picture, and then jumped back on again.

The journey is only a mile or so, but the full round trip takes a good 15-20 minutes, and offers a wonderful view of some of the local countryside.

Now, my mum has lived in Evesham for many years, and we we have visited her regularly since they moved there, but this is the first time that we have been there in all those years!

Next time, we're going to take a picnic, jump on the train, get off at Evesham Vale station, and just enjoy the view.
