Hollyhocks Return

The Hollyhocks are beginning to flower in the garden. Without exception they are self seeded and they seem to pop up everywhere. We have grown some black ones from seed this year but will not get any flowers till next, looking forward to that. You can see from this Blip that the flower is absolutely packed with pollen, unfortunately it was so windy today that there were very few pollinators about. I had to physically hang onto the stem to get this capture.
