365/49: UK Hoop Gathering Day Three

One of the fabulous hoop teachers we spent time with this weekend is the lady pictured on the left above, next to my rather excited sister.

SaFire is a bit of a legend in hooping circles - a brilliant performer, clear and creative teacher and super lovely person to be around. I felt really privileged to learn from her, not just in the scheduled workshop but during an impromptu session after lunch on Saturday, and I admitted to her I'd been doing my best to contain my inner fangirl when she was around. She laughed and hugged me.
