Sky Lanterns

What a lovely saturday. Contrary to predictions it did not rain after all, in fact it was once again beautifully sunny. Went to town with my sister, rather self indulgently bought a dress and met a friend for lunch as it was her birthday.
In the evening my cousin Esther had her 21st birthday party and it was a really lovely night. So many friends and family came (some from quite afar) to have a bbq, live music provided by some very talented guys with guitars, even a game of croquet and later on sky lanterns.
She had instructed me to take photos for her - i love being told to take photos - you can take them of everyone and the cute kids without feeling too stalkerish! So of course i took hundreds and having just looked through they are actually a really great selection! This is just one of many that i really like; it was a tough choice!
