Pub Martin

As I said I would in an earlier blip here is the Pub Martin. Our friends Karen and Martin bought me a copy of The Readers Digest Book Of British Birds. I was delighted as I had always coveted my Da's copy as a boy. I loved the beautiful drawings of the birds and the little maps of distribution. Whilst thumbing through it Martin ,who is no twitcher, was delighted to find birds called 'after me' as he put it. He did though express concern to Karen that the Pub Martin was absent. Karen ever the dutiful wife and allround artsy kinda girl duly obliged with this new, and i'm sure unique, entry.Including Latin name 'Gingerous Drunkena', distribution map and full write up which is scarily accurate. It always brings a smile to my face now whenever I see any of the Martin family, especially the Pub Martin as they emigrated to Hong Kong 4 years ago and 'sightings' have become rare.

I've also back blipped from our French holiday if anyone is interested.Now I just need a job, anyone looking for a joiner?
